What exactly is Wompy?
Wompy is an AI plush built around the character of a curious beginner. The idea is simple: children explain things, invent ideas and tell stories to their little friend. The physical sample is shown above; the conversation experience and companion app are complete.
What would my child actually do with Wompy?
The intended experience is playful back-and-forth: Wompy asks a curious question, your child explains or imagines, and another idea can grow from their answer. Dinosaur facts, building ideas and made-up stories are examples. This website shows scripted illustrations of that idea, rather than the finished toy’s performance.
What ages will Wompy be suitable for?
Wompy is recommended for ages 5 and up. Contact support@wompy.world for care instructions and product safety documentation before preordering. The illustrated children on this page are imagined play scenes, not age recommendations or customer photographs.
Does it need an app or a subscription?
The companion app is complete, and no subscription is planned at launch. Contact support@wompy.world for app access, supported phones, connectivity and setup requirements, and any future service costs.
What about privacy and parental controls?
Toy privacy and parental controls are finalized. Contact support@wompy.world for the toy/app privacy documentation, including voice-data handling, retention, deletion and parent-control instructions. The website and checkout privacy information explains this website and purchase flow; it is separate from the toy/app privacy documentation. The play on this website is prewritten, does not access your microphone, and does not ask for a child’s name or other personal details.
